Update May 8th 2018 – by Randy
Today is the 3rd day of the 5th week of seven weeks. Today is the 31st day of the counting of fifty days from the day of the waving of the Omer on the morrow after the Sabbath.
An answer to prayer
When we originally did this series of postings, counting the omer, we had just moved into our 24 foot camper and we’re living in the wilderness of the Mojave desert, food and necessities came from what little funds we saved from selling our household stuff, it was God’s answer to our prayer for guidance.
Of course today He still provides our daily bread as He does for every other person and bird and lily on this world.,

The Lord works in mysterious ways, He had a plan, this was the day that he took over supplying the Israelites with their most basic needs on a daily basis…
Moses and Aaron said to all the children of Israel, “At evening you shall know that the Lord has brought you out of the land of Egypt. And in the morning you shall see the glory of the Lord; for He hears your complaints against the Lord.
And the Lord spoke to Moses, “I have heard the complaints of the children of Israel, ‘At twilight you shall eat meat, and in the morning you shall be filled with bread. And you shall know that I am the Lord your God.’ ”
So it was that quails came up at evening and covered the camp…
And in the morning they saw the glory of our God –
in the morning the dew lay all around the camp. And when the layer of dew lifted, there, on the surface of the wilderness, was a small round substance, as fine as frost on the ground. So when the children of Israel saw it, they said to one another, “What is it?” For they did not know what it was. And Moses said to them, “This is the bread which the Lord has given you to eat.
And the house of Israel called its name Manna. And it was like white coriander seed, and the taste of it was like wafers made with honey. – Exo 16
They were only to gather enough manna to make bread for the one day, they were to have faith that their Lord would provide again the next day.
