@Roger.Venne, Yeah, I saw that girl from New Spring’s comment on facebook, she was on a rant and I figured that your post was a response, then when I started reading your post I ended up on a rabbit trail of my own.
As far as stumbling: Paul says: It is good neither to eat meat nor drink wine nor do anything by which your brother stumbles or is…[Read more]

Back to the stumbling, I think you have helped me find the key to what confused me about the last half of Romans 14. I missed the word “brother”, I was thinking about strangers on street and non Christian acquaintances that are easily offended.

Hey Everyone…We deactivated the Facebook ‘plugin’ because FB keeps changing and it is too time consuming trying to keep the FB login feature functioning here. The Facebook avitars are gone now, but now that FB login is turned off, the avitar feature here is working.

DorisM.Doris started the group topic Topic 1 ~ Overview 15 years, 6 months agoHere are some points to ponder, while reading the book the second and third times. They are just to get us going. This is NOT a test! Please feel free to share your thoughts and/or questions with the group.
- Ignore chapter breaks as much as possible and any “subject headings” your version may have.
- From reading the entire book, do you see a way…

DorisM.Doris started the group topic Ready ~ Set ~ Go 15 years, 6 months agoWe have read that a good way to start studying Revelation is to read the entire book of Revelation at least three times. One of these times — preferably the first — read the entire book in one sitting. The book is surprisingly short; this may take 45 minutes to an hour. Do not look at any explanatory notes or commentaries at this stage. If you…[Read more]

We don’t keep His Commandments in order to be saved, nor do we keep them out of a sense of fear. We keep His Commandments out of love for Him, faith in His goodness, and a reliance that HIS WAYS are above our ways.
