Update May 9th 2018
Today is the 4th day of the 5th week of seven weeks. Today is the 32nd day of the counting of fifty days from the day of the waving of the Omer on the morrow after the Sabbath.
Is our attitude today an attitude that flows from our vision of God? Are we expecting God to do greater things than He has ever done before? Is there a freshness and a vitality in our spiritual outlook?
If we are eating only out of our own hand, and doing things solely on our own initiative without expecting God to come in, we are on a downward path. We have lost the vision. Oswald Chambers

Jesus answers the multitude’s question, by ignoring it! In John 6:26 He chides them and His disciples that they should be looking for the food that endures to eternal life. But just like the Israelites in the wilderness of Sin, we are more interested in our bellies, than realizing that everything we have comes from the Father…our next breath even.
“I am the living bread that came down out of heaven; if anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread also which I will give for the life of the world is My flesh.” John 6:51
We are so wowed by signs, the manna God gave every morning for forty years and the loaves that Jesus provided for the five thousand, and only good for this life. that we miss what Jesus wants us to realize, that we need to feed on the living Bread, so that we will never die. We start to do that when we repent and believe in Him!
