I just find this interesting, nothing real earth shattering that I can think of, just kinda fun.
For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass away from the law, till all things be accomplished.
(Matthew 5:18 ASV)

1) firm
1a) metaphorically faithful
2) verily, amen
2a) at the beginning of a discourse – surely, truly, of a truth
2b) at the end – so it is, so be it, may it be fulfilled. It was a custom, which passed over from the synagogues to the Christian assemblies, that when he who had read or discoursed, had offered up solemn prayer to God, the others responded Amen, and thus made the substance of what was uttered their own.

Seriously! JK JK! I know how you love that word.
I love that we can trust God’s word. That we don’t have to worry about all the translations throughout history. God has promised us that not ONE jot or ONE tittle of His word will pass away from the Law (see Randy’s post http://godstuff.grammalei.com//words-mean-things/law-nomos-torah-pentateuch-book-of-moses), without it, His word, accomplishing all that He intends it to do!
In Isaiah 55:11 God says, “so is my word that goes out from my mouth – it will not return to me unfulfilled; but it will accomplish what I intend, and cause to succeed what I sent it to do.”
I love the promises of God!
