I saw this on Facebook and not only shared it there but wanted to have it here for posterity. I agree whole-heartedly with Franklin Graham, the storm is coming.
The militant Islamic terrorist group ISIS has released a video called A MESSAGE SIGNED WITH BLOOD TO THE NATION OF THE CROSS showing the beheadings of 21 Egyptian Christians who had been kidnapped in Libya. Can you imagine the outcry if 21 Muslims had been beheaded by Christians? Where is the universal condemnation by Muslim leaders around the world? As we mourn with the families of those 21 martyrs, we’d better take this warning seriously as these acts of terror will only spread throughout Europe and the United States. If this concerns you like it does me, share this. The storm is coming. – Franklin Graham
Jesus warned us that these days would come. Wars and rumors of wars, nation against nation, famines and earthquakes, tribulation and being killed because of the Name of Jesus.
“Because lawlessness is increased, most people’s love will grow cold. “But the one who endures to the end, he will be saved.” Matthew 24:12-13
The Apostle Paul tells us to–
“preach the word; to be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with great patience and instruction…rejoicing in hope, persevering in tribulation, devoted to prayer”.
To him who overcomes
I believe that as we endure we also will overcome. Strongs definition of the word overcome is: to subdue (literally or figuratively): – conquer, overcome, prevail, get the victory. Jesus uses the word, overcomes, eight times in Revelation, when speaking to His church. If we truly are the “nation of the cross”, we need to be prepared, individually, putting on “the whole armor of God”.
“He who overcomes will inherit these things, and I will be his God and he will be My son. Revelation 21:7
He expects us to be overcomers…
“These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.” John 16:33
“because greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world.” 1 John 4:4
