End Time Delusions

I was taught at the Pentacostal Church that I was Saved at about the Rapture, The antichrist, the Tribulation, then Jesus’ Triumphal Return. I have been a big “Left Behind” fan for 10 years, now I want my collection of all 16 books to go away. I dont know what to do with them. The whole story line is based on false …premises; I dont want to give them to somebody and give them false hopes. I say the above after reading Steve Wolberg’s book “End Time Delusions.” He, with The Holy SPIRIT, opened my eyes to the Truth. If you havent read it, you gotta!

I guess I have to say that I am still a big fan of “Left Behind”. Those books were a huge part of my journey, and I assume with the sales, that it has had it has been part of a bunch of peoples. There are big chunks of scripture in the books, I have been struggling to get into scripture “since I was thirteen”, while I was reading them I felt close to God, like I have heard that you do when you get into scripture.

Now – when I realize that my struggle to make ends meet has taken over my days and my life, I wish I could go back and recapture that feeling.

So I guess they were like a stepping stone. I don’t know if I would be “here” now, if I hadn’t used them to get here??
