There was a certain girl that I went to grammer school with, there is only one reason I still remember her, she was different.
Do we all remember somebody like that? Was the odd one in your class made fun of? Shunned? Did, or do you, like me, never want to be like them?
Do you, like me, think that the worst thing, that you, or any parent can do to their child is to make them feel different?
Why do I remember Lori after all these years? She stood out in my 3rd grade class because she had religious convictions, it was because she wouldn’t salute the flag.
I wonder where she is now, I sure hope that she is raising her children just like her parents raised her. God fearing.
