I have found that when doing any Bible study I get the best benefit by reading through the Bible portion first, at least one time, before reading any commentary. I am just a student like you and I have found this way of study so beneficial to hearing God’s still small voice. Give the Spirit the opportunity to speak to you and trust him to do it! So let us keep asking, seeking and knocking!
Anytime I share my thoughts or beliefs throughout this study, please think of them that way, they are just my thoughts and beliefs of where God has brought me so far, and where I am right now.
Many years ago I was given a simple study tool, called: Word Wise Questions, by a dear sister in Christ. Check it out by clicking on the title to see if you might like this way of study, it may help you throughout this study.
